Devilishly Dark Almond Butter Truffles

These need no introduction...they ARE as good as they look and super easy to make.

Method:

In a food processor blend together a 170g jar of almond butter and 3 dates until fairly smooth.

With your hands roll into small balls (or any other shapes), place on a parchment lined baking sheet and in the freezer for at least 1 hour. You could also use silicone molds.

Then dip them into melted dark chocolate and immediately sprinkle with your desired topping.

Anything goes here - chopped nuts, sea salt flakes, cacao nibs, freeze-dried berries, coconut flakes, dried rose petals - the possibilities are endless. When all the balls are covered in chocolate and decorated place back in the freezer. Enjoy them straight from freezer.
